Berry Blessings

The Berry Blessings stamp set and the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper were free this time during Sale-a-bration!   The paper is lovely and I have made a ton of cards with them.   I attended an online Creative Convention and this set was one of the main classes.   The four cards in the picture below were designed by Ronda Wade and I got to make them with some of the paper.

These are easy cards to make with basic simple design but aren't they "berry" adorable??
These cards use the DSP which are 5 1/4 " by 4" .  I cut out the DSP by using the largest Rectangle Stitched Dies and then placed the third largest die in the middle and cut them both out at once.   I glued the first layer to the paper and put dimensionals on the smaller piece to have it stand up a bit.   This paper is just great!

Darling Donkeys

So many cute things this Sale-a-bration!   These Darling Donkeys were among them!     IF you search Darling Donkeys on Pinterest you will find a large number of cards made with them.   I cased this first design layout from Stephanie Bloodhart.   I used my own colours of paper and made one for a man and one or a woman.

I even made matching envelopes by tracing the lid of the envelope on paper and then cutting it out.   I used the stitched triangles to make the corners so these were easy cards to make.
The Ombre Designer Series Paper also free during Sale-a-bration makes great cards too.    You can just stamp the donkeys or stamp them and fussy cut them out to give a little more dimension to your cards.
I used the Woodland Embossing Folder for the background on the left.  I cased the design for the card on the right from Frenchie and just used different colours.    The white and Blackberry Bliss is stunning!

February Paper Pumpkin

I have had alot of fun this month with my Paper Pumpkin.   I created this first picture of cards with all the contents that come in the box.   You just open it and all the paper, adhesives and ink are in the box to create these cards.  The pieces you need are all in the box.

The envelopes came with the box too.    I made these and then went on to make different cards with the stamp set that came in the package.    I used Flower and Field Designer Series Paper which is free in Sale-a-bration with a $60.00 order.   I used a basic design for all four cards.
This is the first one I made.   I used Thick Whisper White in all four cards and a 4 by 5 1/4" piece of  DSP as the next layer.   In this card I used the Stitched Nested Label Dies.  I just stamped and coloured the flowers to match the background in the DSP.
Same design here but I used the Stitched so Sweetly Dies.   I also used them in the cards below.   Again I matched the roses in the bouquet to the flowers in the DSP.
These were the last two I made with the same stamp.  You can see how versatile the Field and Flower Paper is.   It makes such lovely backgrounds.  On the second card I added a few layers to make it look a little more dressed up.   I hope you have had fun with your kit!

More Welcoming Windows

I thought I would just post two more cards that I have made using Welcoming Windows.   You can make different windows by either using the dies or the stamps as you will see below.

This one uses the dies for the window and then I used the brick stamp to make the wall.   Isn't it great!   The flowers on the window are stamped by doing the leaves first and then the flowers are added with a different colour and a separate stamp.
For this card I used the stamps to do the window and shutters and then used the dies to cut them out.   I couldn't decide which sentiment so I put them both in and will decide later.

Welcoming Window

It is time again for our monthly West Coast Creator Blog Hop!

Our theme this month is focusing on a lovely new set with cute chicks or a birthday theme.  I am sure you will enjoy the many amazing cards from my fellow team members.

I have chosen to do a birthday card using my new Welcoming Window Bundle.  I love any stamp set related to gardening and I thought the windows were so lovely.   The birthday sentiment in this set is really nice too!
This is the first card I have created with this set.   I was inspired by my neighbour's house for colours actually.  I used Smoky Slate as the background and embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder.

I then just used the dies to cut out the shutters and window frame in Night of Navy.   I had a piece of Paper Blooms DSP on my desk so cut that to put behind the window to look like wallpaper.

I used Terra Cotta Tile to stamp the flower pots and Old Olive to stamp the foliage.   I love these sets where you stamp the foliage and then use a different stamp to fill in the flowers.  It makes it so easy to create a lovely image!
I thought this picture would show a little more clearly the embossing on the shutters and wooden piece underneath that happens when you do the die cutting.   I also love this detail it adds to your card when you use them.

This bundle is on page 58 of the January to June Mini Catalogue.   It can be ordered on the link below with number 156271.   It will qualify you for a free Sale-a-bration item as well!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy all the other cards in this hop.

Valentine Packages

Valentines Day is fun to celebrate with everyone.   I made some cute boxes for my grandchildren with Baby Sharks and then made these two packages for their mom and dad.

I used the Shark Frenzy set to make the package for my son-in-law.    The baby sharks are the three grandchildren and the big one is the dad of course.   I used the free Sale-a-bration Paper Blooms DSP for this covering for a nice big chocolate bar.    The package on the right  is the Snail Mail DSP.

All you do is cut paper a little higher than the chocolate bar and a little wider X 2.   Then you score a half inch, glue that part together and slide in your chocolate bar.   You can make a neat treat for any chocolate bar this way.

Curvy Dies with True Love DSP

Monday is my Live at Five.    Today my friend requested me to show the Curvy Dies and how you make cards with them.     I did this card with True Love Designer Series Paper.

1. I cut piece of Basic Thick  White in half and scored at 4 1/4".

2.  The Daffodil Delight piece is 4" by 5 1/4".

3.  I cut the striped piece of True Love DSP 5" by 3".

4.  Then I used the Curvy Dies to cut a piece of Basic White that was 5" wide in half.
5.   Cut and colour the flowers  in  the True Love DSP with Daffodil Delight Blend pens.
6.   Stamp the sentiment and colour the pearls with the blends and voila!

Simple Mystery Valentine Card

When I did my Mystery Challenge last Thursday from my Facebook Live at Shanda's Stamping Spot,  I encouraged everyone to play along.  I have done Mystery Stamping only once but I really enjoyed it.    The dimensions were given first.  Here they are!

I did my Facebook Live today and we all put our cards together.    This is quite a simple design and has a thousand possibilities.
This was my card.   I embossed the first layer with the Parisian Flourish Folder.  I cut out the other layers with Blushing Bride cut with Always in My Heart Dies.  The Love You Always DSP is so pretty and adds a sparkle to the card.
This is the video I did on my Facebook Live if you want to see how we made the final product!
