Gift Certificates

If you need cards to give as gifts for your family and friends I can help you!   I have a wide assortment of handmade cards for every occasion.   What I have been doing with my friends and some customers is sending them a picture of 20 cards or so with numbers on them and they choose which cards they like.    I sell my cards 4 for $10 so you can give a nice assortment of cards to anyone.      I also do classes and teach people to make cards and sell the products you can use to do this.   It is so satisfying to make your own cards and you will be surprised to learn how easy it is with a little guidance!

Dragonflies

These are two more cards I made once we had finished Onstage Convention...    I used the DSP that you can buy with the suite of products and then I cut out the background pieces with other dies I have.   I hope after Christmas we will be a little more back to normal and have some classes.

Lovely New Suits!!

This is a little sneak peek of a suite of products that makes an endless amount of fabulous cards!!  I knew I would "need" this set as soon as I saw it.   I have seen many cards on Pinterest now with even more fabulous ideas than I came up with.    You can make men's and women's sweaters, men's suits, doctor and nurse outfits, and more.    I have an idea for a wedding card which I will try after I get my Christmas cards all made and sent out!

Aren't these neat cards???   I have so many more ideas to try.    If you would like a catalogue in your hands to look at - just let me know!

Card Assortment

Just a selection of cards for Christmas which you can buy or make in a class.   This year's Pointsettia dies make gorgeous pointsettias - white or red!  I have been working all week on the nativity scenes with the nativity dies and I love this Nay and White combo!   The trees and the birds are great fun to make cards with as well!   If you need Christmas cards I sell them 4 for $10.

Treat Boxes

These little boxes are very easy to make.   You can buy the boxes from Stampin' Up, put them together and then just decorate them.    You can buy white boxes like the one on top and add paper, or you can buy gold ones like the one on the left.   I sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink the box on the right so you can see how different these little boxes can be.

They hold chocolates and other assorted treats or you can make 3X3 inch little cards in them for tags to put on gifts.  Just leave a comment if you would like to make some of these boxes as gifts for your friends.

Shine Bright

Welcome to our West Coast Creators Blog Hop!   We have a great team and I am sure you will enjoy everyone's creations you see as you go through our blogs.

I loved the Snow Globe Scenes last year and was excited to see it again in the catalogue this year!  I spent a few days making globe scenes with all the pieces in this set.
This was the first one I made.  I cut out the two pieces of the church and glued them together.   I actually stamped the house first and glued the church on top of it.  I coloured the windows of the house in Daffodil Delight so it looks like the windows of the church.   I wanted the church to have some trees behind it and was happy that the church covered the house in the set so you couldn't see it.  In this card I cut a circle with Night of Navy and put that on the top.   The bottom of the globe is silver foil glued onto Night of Navy.
This is the same card but I cut the circle using silver foil and put that around the globe scene.   Not sure which I like better but I thought the Navy looked better against the white. I just filled the globe with some white sequins I had in a drawer.  There are some great snowflakes in the catalogue that would look great in here too.
This is a close up of the scene.   I wanted you to see the Wink of Stella I put on the church and you can see the windows a little better.
This is the stamp set and the dies.  You can find them on page 182 of the Annual catalogue.  I have used the deer and the house by itself.   I love shaker cards and using these Snow Globe Shaker Domes from page 158 in the Annual catalogue are great fun!

Pizza Boxes

Stampin' Up has cute little pizza boxes that they sell and they are perfect for little gifts of chocolates and tags.  I made a few different boxes and did my Facebook Live showing how to put them together.

You can just decorate the boxes with paper and ribbon.   I sponged with red box with Cherry Cobbler Ink and a bit of gold ink.   The gold boxes just need decorating really.   I had that Very Vanilla tree already cut out and the little tag was in my stash so I just put them on and thought it looked pretty.

I have just learned how to download my Lives from Facebook so hopefully I have done this correctly.  If you want to decorate your 3 1/2" box, you just need the first layer to be 3 1/4" and your next layer to be  a 3" square with whatever specialty paper you have on hand.

Getting Ready for Remembrance Day

I wanted to make a card for Remembrance Day and I couldn't figure out a design.  We have design challenges for our WestCoast Creator Team every two weeks and this month it was a sketch challenge.

I thought this would work for my poppy card I wanted to make.   I had seen some nice ones on Pinterest but wanted to design one myself.   I used my Peaceful Moments Bundle to create the poppies and the sentiment from that was absolutely perfect.   I wanted to use Poppy Parade and Smoky Slate went well so pulled a piece of DSP from my Peony Suite and that made an lovely background.

I did sponge the flowers with Poppy Parade Ink as that makes the flowers look more textured and real.  I really miss the Remembrance Assemblies we had every year at school now that I am retired but making this card will ehlp me as I am grateful at this time for our freedom.

Dragonfly Garden

I just love Stampin' Up Onstage Events.  They are a great company and I love getting my crafting products from them.  The colours match the ink and it makes it so easy to make lovely cards.   This is a new set they were showing us that will be available in the January to June 2021   We got to watch a presentation and then make the cards along with the presenter.    I changed mine a little from theirs but this new Dragonfly Garden Bundle will make great cards.

These cards will be available for a class or available for sale if you are in need of some cards.

I made these cute little pumpkin treat holders with my Little Curvy Box Dies.   They hold two chocolates or a small package of candies.   I gave these and other treat holders out to all the children who live near our cul-de-sac and greet me with "Hi, Zak's Grandma!"

I made these little holders using the Little Treat Box Dies.   I made different colours for brothers and sisters.  My daughter and her friends hid them around the house and the children had to find them.  The little bat is a retired punch I have.   The pumpkins are from the Harvest Hello stamp set.  It was so quick to punch them out and make enough of these to go around the neighborhood.
