I chose the Elephant Parade Bundle on page 48 in the catalogue. It is soooooo cute! I decided it would be perfect for baby cards and friendship cards! The cards I feature here use the Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper which are a great deal if you have a party or a qualifying order to earn these Stampin' Up rewards.
2. Cut DSP 5" by 3 3/4".
3. Cute a piece of Basic White 4 1/2" by 3 1/4".
4. Stamp and colour the elephants - I used Smoky Slate but I think my pens are drying out a little and I need to order some more.
5. I used the dies to cut out the grass and peanuts -don't you just love those peanuts?? Stamp the mouse and I coloured him with Crumb Cake Blends.
6. I used the sentiment from this stamp set and used dimensionals so it stood up a bit.
Just thought I would give a close up of those peanuts - I think that is my favourite part of the set.
I cased this card from Julie Gilson - it uses the same Designer Series Paper - pg. 179 in the new catalogue. I cut the little frame using Fabulous Frames Dies. The dies for these peanuts are in the Elephant Parade Bundle - they cut and emboss all at once. These are the only two cards I have made so far but I can see making many more in the future.
Just click on the pictures below to go and see the lovely cards my teammates have made.
Cute cards, Shanda!
