I am going to be working with the In the Grove Bundle! I love all things with trees and scenery dies.
You can use the dies to create a lovely card front and then work with the stamps to make a scene behind the trees.
For this card I cut a piece of Basic Beige cardstock 5 1/4" by 4" and thenput the tree die on and cut it out. I then cut a Basic White the same size to go underneath.
I stamped the mountains first and stamped a second mountain on a large post it note to make a mask. I put that over my mountain and then used my blending brushes with Peach Pie and then Petunia Pop to create the sunset in the background. I then just stamped the grass die quite a few times to create the grass. I stamped a tree to add as well as an image from the stamp set Coffee with Friends.
I seem to need a lot of sympathy or thinking of you cards and I love scenery cards to express that sentiment to my friends. I made another card without the trees on the front.
This card is the same design but I decided to see what it would look like without the trees. I did add a tree from the Forever Forest Set as I felt the card needed a little something. I am waiting to add a sentiment to say just the right thing.
