Valentine Cards and Treats

The otter is a cute little stamp set you can get for free with an order of $60 during January and February.    It is a special free item we can get during Sale-a-bration.    I used the Sweet Talk Suite to make these cards and the little tag and gift box below.   The paper is great for Valentines!
The box and tags are a design from Ronda Wade who designs projects for our team meetings.
They make a lovely little gift for someone for Valentine's Day!

Valentines Galore

It is great fun to make cards for ones family and friends and especially for Valentine's.
I started with these cards with some of the new products from the January to June catalogue.
I participated in a swap  and received the card in the top right and will be making some more of those.

I made these cute little boxes for my grandchildren.

I learned how to make these boxes from Paper Pixie.   When you pull out the box, the top pulls up too with the sentiment on it.   I just love making boxes like this.   You can get quite a few chocolate treats in here.

I also made these for my grandchildren.    This hot chocolate turns color when you make it.   One of my teammates made these and I had to order the hot chocolate from Amazon and copy Lori Wilcox's design.

I also make these for craft fairs at Christmas.    You open them up to see two small boxes which each hold a Ferrero Rochet.    I am going to make a few more for my daughter to give out at her work place.

I have taught each of these designs to a few people and I can make them for you to buy.    $5.00 each or three for  $10.     I can also teach you how to make these in a class.   Email me at

Sale-a-bration Daffodil DSP

I always think this is the best part of the Stampin' Up year.   When Sale-a-bration aligns with a new January to June catalogue (affectionally called JJcat) it really feels like Christmas to me with all the lovely new things to try.

This month our West Coast Creator team will be featuring the lovely new things which you can get for free during Sale-a-bration in January when you make a purchase of any products in two catalogues of $60 or $120.   There are many things to choose from and you can make beautiful cards etc. for your friends.   Enjoy all the wonderful creations of my friends.

This card uses the free Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper found on Pg 4 of the Sale-a-bration catalogue.    It is lovely and coordinates with the Daffodil Daydream Bundle.   I chose to use just the paper to show how easy it is to make a card.   The sentiment is from a free stamp set on pg. 12.  Daffodils are often used a symbol for support for cancer research and I have a few friends battling cancer and I thought this would be perfect card to send to one of my friends.  I had some Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim which I colored with my Old Olive Blends just to add a little something I thought this card needed.    You could actually not add the ladybug but.......when you get something new..... you just have to play with everything! :)

I decided to add a ladybug which I made using the Hello Ladybug Bundle.   I stamped the black dots using my Stamparatus to get them dark enough and then just punched them out to make the wings of the ladybug.  I thought they are so cute and adds just the right touch to the card.  With the purchase of the Hello Ladybug Bundle and one heart punch you would qualify to get the Daffodil DSP for free.   The paper is just like a garden and makes lovely cards.
This is a card using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle and the free paper.  When you purchase the Daffodil Daydream Bundle - you can get the Daffodil Afternoon DSP for free as well!   The dies in the bundle make these great daffodils.

Card Classes

This is a lovely set of Designer Series Paper and a wonderful stamp set which you get for free when you order $120 from either the January to June new catalogue or the big Annual Catalogue.  These cards will be available as a class.

I love the Hedgehog stamp set and punch.   You can just stamp the hedgehog and then punch him out.  I used the free Sale-a-bration paper when I made the card at the top.

I made these cards for guys and an older child.   They feel like the North Shore Mountains to me.

These are a sample of all occasion - wedding, graduation, inspiration.   I need to work on some baby cards but these are a sample of cards you can make.

I absolutely love the Daffodil Daydream Bundle and have made quite a few samples for this class.

I charge $15 to make six cards.    You can choose any of the above cards for a combination class or you can buy the bundle which goes with each set of cards and get your class for half price.   Invite a friend and you both get a class for half price.

Daffodil Daydream

Both of these cards were made by stamping right onto cardstock with Stayzon Ink and then dipping a Q-tip into bleach and it actually turns the cardstock yellow so you don't really have to colour.   The top card is Granny Apple Green and it turns bright yellow.   The bottom card uses Soft Succulent and it turns that nice more subtle shade of yellow.

Hedgehogs

This is my favourite  set and I ordered it first.   I just love hedgehogs. You just stamp the little guys and then you can punch  then out and glue them onto this fabulous paper which is free with a $60 purchase during Sale-a-bration.

I had another die set so I added some mushrooms along with my hedgehogs.

This was the first card I made and it was very simple to make.
